I’m Sarah Manning — a Dallas-based creative who believes that design and art share the same heartbeat: emotion, rhythm, and story.

Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I grew up surrounded by creativity. My mother was an artist, and her studio became my playground and my classroom. Watching her transform blank canvases into something alive taught me that creativity isn’t just a skill — it’s a way of seeing.

Thirteen years ago, I left my small coastal hometown and moved to Texas in search of new opportunities. That move became the start of a lifelong creative journey — one that’s taken me through the worlds of graphic design, brand storytelling, and art direction.

Over the years, I’ve led visual direction and creative strategy for luxury retailers, architecture firms, and design brands. My work has spanned everything from campaign concepts and brand refreshes to print, digital, and experiential design. I thrive at the intersection of aesthetic intuition and strategic clarity — where design isn’t just about beauty, but about creating connection and meaning.

Beyond my design career, I’m a fine artist, exploring color, form, and memory through layered acrylic and mixed-media paintings. My art is intuitive and emotive — a process of adding and stripping away layers to reveal something honest underneath. It’s a continuation of the same creative curiosity that guided me as a child and still drives me today.

To me, creativity is a conversation between structure and spontaneity — between the logic of a campaign and the instinct of a brushstroke. That balance is where I live and work. It’s what makes my creative journey both strategic and soulful, grounded and ever-evolving.
